September 2019
Flameworking and Runescape mark the summer hobbies of 2019. I make many short trips along the West Coast, from LA to Portland.
The third year of the Physics PhD represents a shift away from schooling and into research. Having fully passed my preliminary exam, I set to work on the first chapter of my thesis work: How Does Modeling Complexity Arise?

November 2019
I get word that I've passed my Prelim. The family visits San Francisco, the physicists carve some pumpkins, and I play some DnD.
January 2020
My coding levels up, I visit Omar in Colorado, and I bring friends from all my life stages together in Concord.
March 2020
I turn 25 shortly after Genesis 7, the largest grassroots Melee tournament. I visit Darcy's home in Topanga before attending my cousin Josh's wedding back home. Murmers of COVID-19 cast a pall over my arrival from CA.
May 2020
COVID-19 hits the US. I catch some mice in Topanga and play a bunch of video games.
July 2020
Year 3 ends in digital static. I adapt to the new gym-free fitness standards. I try my hand (yet again) at visual art.
